Divisional Lead - UK and Overseas Placements - Key Health

Location: Leavenworth, KS

Work Setting: Onsite

A leading provider of institutional healthcare services is hiring a Psychiatrist to lead the delivery of comprehensive mental health care within a correctional facility in Leavenworth, KS.

This full-time, on-site position is ideal for an experienced psychiatrist who thrives in structured environments and is passionate about improving behavioral health outcomes in underserved populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct psychiatric care, including assessments, diagnoses, and psychotropic medication management
• Lead and mentor a team of mental health professionals
• Coordinate treatment plans and therapeutic programs
• Participate in civil commitment proceedings, disciplinary cases, and crisis interventions
• Oversee administrative functions including compliance reporting, documentation, and program evaluation
• Collaborate with legal, clinical, and operational teams to improve care delivery
• Assist with staff training and participate in community outreach efforts

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in psychology or a related clinical field from an accredited institution
• Active license or eligibility for licensure in Kansas
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a similar leadership role
• Strong clinical, administrative, and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license
