Join our dynamic pharmacy team where you will gain hands-on experience in providing excellent patient care and pharmacy services. As a Pharmacy Graduate Intern, you will support our mission to enhance customers' health through consultations and preventive healthcare services, including immunizations. Your key responsibilities will include: Customer Engagement:
Proactively greet customers and assist them with inquiries regarding medications and healthcare services, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Consultation Services:
Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and interactions while promoting alternatives as necessary, ensuring they are well-informed. Operational Excellence:
Assist in compounding, verifying, and dispensing medications while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. Healthcare Promotion:
Offer wellness services such as immunizations, flu shots, and diabetes awareness initiatives, transitioning pharmacy interactions from transactional to meaningful. Inventory Management:
Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to optimize inventory, ensuring the pharmacy operates efficiently. Team Development:
Support the hiring and training of pharmacy staff while mentoring team members in best practices. Qualifications: A desire to pursue a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution. A commitment to obtaining pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire. Experience in prescription dispensing and a solid understanding of controlled substance laws. Certification as an Immunizer or willingness to become one within 90 days of hiring.
