We are actively seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician to join a federal contract assignment at the Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC) and ValleyWise Medical Center. This locum tenens opportunity offers highly competitive compensation, a stable one-year base term, and the potential for up to four annual extensions.

Position Overview

• Contract Term: August 24, 2025 – August 23, 2026

(with four optional one-year extensions)

• Schedule: Two clinic days per week (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Patient Load: Approx. 10 patients per clinic
• Compensation: $200/hour (1099 contract; no benefits)
• Call Requirements: None – no nights or weekends

Minimum Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Active, unrestricted medical license in the State of Arizona
• Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited MFM Fellowship
• Current BLS Certification
• Proficiency in EHR and targeted obstetrical ultrasound (Level 2)
• Strong understanding of federal, tribal, and culturally competent healthcare standards
• Familiarity with IHS, The Joint Commission (TJC), and hospital regulatory guidelines

Preferred:

• Minimum 2 years of MFM clinical experience
• New graduates with strong fellowship training will be considered

Core Responsibilities

• Perform high-risk OB consultations and diagnostics
• Provide expert fetal monitoring and interpret advanced imaging
• Collaborate closely with OB/GYN teams across hospital settings
• Deliver care that meets federal and tribal health standards
• Uphold professional, culturally sensitive, and patient-centered practices
