ACCOUNTING CLERK | Princeton, NJ

We are looking for a meticulous and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team in the import industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to handle various accounting tasks with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Maintain and update financial records, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly and timely.
• Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts, and other financial records to ensure accuracy.
• Enter financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Assist the accounting department with various tasks, including preparing financial reports, conducting audits, and managing budgets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all accounting activities.
• Liaise with vendors, clients, and other stakeholders to resolve any accounting-related issues or discrepancies.
