Sterling Medical is seeking full time Medical Receptionist to provide services at the VA Medical centers in Colorado. The Medical Receptionist performs duties related to the receipt, intake and indexing of health and administrative information and is responsible for scheduling appointments, including interpreting and verifying provider orders in accordance with VHA national scheduling guidelines. Clinical areas and locations vary ; Alamosa, CO , Aurora, CO, Burlington, CO, Castle Rock,CO, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Glendale, CO, Golden, CO, La Junta, CO, Lamar, CO, Pueblo, Colorado or Salida, CO. Job Type: Full time Clinic Hours: Regular business hours: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 6:00pm, excluding federal holidays; contractor personnel will work an 8-hour shift within the defined business hours. Basic Requirements: Citizen of the United States. Must be proficient in spoken and written English Type at least 50 WPM Basic medical terminology knowledge Six (6) months customer service experience; of clerical, office, customer service, or other administrative work that indicates the ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position, High School education or GED equivalent
