Job Description
- Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, as required to meet business needs.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Sales department.
- Maintain knowledge of all hotel services, features, and hours of operation.
- Use and maintain all office equipment, computer, and manual systems effectively.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of hotel information, correspondence, reports, and files.
- Familiarize with current customers and hotel accounts.
- Understand front desk and desk operations.
- Perform miscellaneous support services, including filing, gathering information, organizing the sales office, and maintaining a neat and presentable work area.
- Communicate effectively with the General Manager, department managers, and staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Provide clerical, secretarial, and administrative support to the Sales department, including dictation, typing, data entry, filing, answering phones, and preparing reports and records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English with guests, management, and co-workers.
- Ability to produce legible and accurate communication.
- Previous guest relations training preferred.
- Experience in preparing statistical reports is a plus.
