Overview
Eliot is seeking a compassionate and committed
Senior Residential Clinician
for our Juvenile Justice residential program. Eliot's Juvenile Justice residential program provides placement for court-involved youth, ages 13 to 21, while awaiting court proceedings assessment, or and those involved in treatment. This highly structured, self-contained program provides comprehensive interventions for juvenile offenders, including fully accredited schools and clinical support with individual and group therapy, staffed by trained professionals. All components are integrated through a Positive Youth Development framework In this role you will provide individual, family and group clinical support, therapy and interventions.The ideal candidate will have experience working with adolescents in a team environment, and an understanding and/or willingness to learn and implement the tenets of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with youth, parents, referral and funding sources, siblings and/or extended safety nets. Provide individual and family therapy in accordance with the program, Department of Youth Services (DYS), Department of Early Education and Care (DEEC) and Eliot policies and procedures. Manage the development and implementation of Individual Service Plans. Supervise case management and advocacy for youth. Have knowledge of resources in each community in which youth live. Attend administrative, staff, and shift change meetings, and facilitate clinical and community meetings.
Qualifications
Master's degree in the Healing Arts and independently licensed as a LICSW, LMFT or LMHC. At least three years direct experience with the population. Knowledge and experience with clinical issues of children and adolescents and working knowledge of DBT and substance use/substance use disorder. At least one year in a supervisory role. Ability to develop and maintain strong professional working relationships with residents, staff, co-workers, and supervisors. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultures. Ability to physically carry out Crisis Prevention Intervention techniques.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm
Annual Salary
$70,000 - $70,000 USD
