This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual to learn residential and commercial plumbing. The Entry Level Plumber will configure, install, fit, and test plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial structures. Our production team works in a heated indoor facility. This is a full-time, year-round position that offers great benefits, the ability for advancement, and a standardized Monday through Friday schedule.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plans, prepares, installs, and tests plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Reads blueprints, work orders, schematics, and instructions to properly install and configure systems.
• Gathers equipment and materials for the job.
• Installs various types of insulation and pipe covering.
• Coordinates with the manager to schedule machinery maintenance, repairs, and installation to ensure systems comply with applicable safety and building codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Maintains records, including logs and inspection details.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

PREFERREDED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Ability to use a variety of tools, which may include torches, saws, pipe benders, and PEX tools.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Prolonged periods of standing and stretching to install and repair pipes and pipe fittings.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Must possess visual acuity required to inspect piping systems and read plans or blueprints.
• QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • One to two years’ experience with basic plumbing
• Plumber’s license not required
