Work with a dedicated and cohesive team of professionals focused on providing quality patient care and high work ethics. Utilize electronic medical records, EPIC. Join a group currently consisting of 9 pediatric hospitalists as we look to expand. Work 12-hour shifts, the majority of which are day shifts, as we currently have two full-time nocturnists. Collaborate closely with ER and outside facilities to triage patients to the appropriate services. Provide 24/7 coverage for all pediatric patients admitted, including coverage for NICU and PICU on campus. Engage in joint collaboration with the University of Toledo Medical School and the University of Toledo Pediatric residency program, with many opportunities for teaching. Participate in various hospital committees and work closely with ancillary staff for quality improvement initiatives. Benefits:
