About the Company:
Our client is a dynamic marketing solutions firm based in Troy, MI, specializing in cutting-edge marketing technology and digital products. They are currently resurrecting and enhancing an existing product that has been offline for 18-24 months. They are looking for a talented ColdFusion Developer to join their team and contribute to this exciting project.
Project Scope:
Resurrecting and enhancing a product that has been inactive for 18-24 months. Tasks include adding new functionality, upgrading existing functionality, and fixing bugs as part of the upgrade to ColdFusion 2023. This is a team project with collaborative efforts from a lead and three software engineers. The additional developer will be integrated into the team to help meet deadlines and project milestones. Responsibilities:
Work closely with the project team to enhance and upgrade the existing ColdFusion product. Identify and resolve issues related to the upgrade to ColdFusion 2023. Develop, test, and deploy new features and functionality. Maintain and optimize MySQL database queries and performance. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges. Ensure that all deliverables meet project goals and deadlines. Skills & Qualifications:
ColdFusion:
Strong experience with ColdFusion, ideally ColdFusion 2023. Database Knowledge:
Strong working knowledge of MySQL and database management. Problem Solving:
Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues related to ColdFusion, including bug fixing and system upgrades. Team Collaboration:
Comfortable working as part of a team and taking direction from a lead engineer. Experience Level:
Mid-Senior Level, with at least 3-5 years of experience in ColdFusion development and similar projects. Nice to Have:
Experience with JavaScript and front-end frameworks is a plus. Familiarity with web development best practices and agile methodologies. Work Environment:
On-Site:
This position requires the candidate to work on-site at the client's office in Troy, MI. Team Dynamics:
You will be joining a collaborative team environment where you will work closely with other software engineers and the project lead.
