Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) will utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide tailored nursing care to residents. You will collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to develop and assess care plans. This role encompasses all aspects of preventive care, health maintenance, and treatment. You will also coordinate care, conduct assessments, provide education and implement nursing interventions. As a charge nurse, you will delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff while ensuring the safe, reliable administration of care. You will function within the scope of nursing practice and maintain compliance with state nursing regulations and standards. Qualifications Graduates from nationally accredited nursing programs are preferred. A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is highly valued. Current, unencumbered RN license in the relevant state is required, with multistate licensure accepted in Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) states. You will also be expected to obtain and maintain department-specific competencies and certifications.
