*Salary Range: $56,534 - $73,026 Annually*
*Requirements:*
· Licensed RCP in UT (or the ability to obtain)
· BLS and ACLS within 6 months of hire
· PALS and NRP within 6 months of hire
*Job Overview*
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing respiratory care to patients across various healthcare settings, including clinics, outpatient facilities, and Level I and Level II Trauma Centers. This position requires expertise in emergency medicine, critical care, and geriatrics.
*Responsibilities*
* Administer respiratory therapies and medications to patients
* Assess and treat patients with breathing disorders
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans
* Operate and monitor ventilators and other respiratory equipment
* Educate patients on respiratory health management
* Provide care in emergency situations
*Requirements*
* Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
* Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to the cardiopulmonary system
* Experience working in emergency medicine, critical care, or geriatrics is preferred
* Ability to work in fast-paced environments such as Level I and Level II Trauma Centers
* Proficiency in ventilator management and respiratory assessment
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
