Receive a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus! About Us At Good Samaritan Society - Waconia, we are a 90-bed skilled nursing facility specializing in long-term and post-acute care services. We prioritize our residents' well-being and invite you to be part of our dedicated team! We are currently seeking a motivated CNA to join our evening nursing staff! This position requires working from 2:30 PM to 10:00 PM, including every other weekend. Access your earnings daily Generous Sign-On Bonus Flexible Scheduling Options Available Evening and weekend shift premiums Nursing scholarships offered A supportive, family-oriented work environment Position Overview The Nursing Assistant (NA) provides compassionate, resident-centered care during your shifts in our long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities as per the resident care plan. Your responsibilities will include bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene assistance, as well as recording vital signs and offering emotional support. The NA will also help residents with mobility, including safe transfers, positioning, and walking. You will assist with dining experiences, ensuring that residents receive the nourishment and care they need. Additional tasks may involve documenting interactions, communicating changes to the nursing staff, and supporting resident participation in wellness and recreational activities. Qualifications We welcome applicants who are at least 16 years old. A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from the State Board of Nursing is necessary, or you must be enrolled in a training program to obtain certification within four months of starting this position. CNA training and certification will be provided by our facility. Completion of annual competency testing and continuing education is required.
