We are seeking a warm-hearted and imaginative educator to guide our incoming Grade 1 class on their first steps into the grades for the 2025–2026 school year. This full-time position begins on August 1, 2025, offering the opportunity to step into the rhythm of our school community before the children arrive, preparing for the joyous journey ahead. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in Waldorf grades teaching, a bachelor’s or master’s degree, and Waldorf teacher training. This individual will embody a dynamic approach to Waldorf pedagogy, bringing the curriculum to life with creativity and enthusiasm, and fostering meaningful connections with students, parents, and colleagues. As a Grade 1 teacher, you will hold the sacred role of shepherding these young learners as they transition from the rhythm of early childhood into the exciting journey of grade school learning. The Honolulu Waldorf School is an established coeducational, independent school serving students from Early Childhood through Grade 8.
