17th June, 2025 The Woodbridge church of Christ, located in Woodbridge, VA, is looking for a full-time minister who is Biblically sound and zealous for the cause of Christ. We desire someone skilled in teaching Bible classes and preaching sound sermons. Regular visitation and interaction with the congregation is also expected. Someone with leadership and organizational experience would be helpful to motivate us to grow spiritually and numerically. We are very interested in reaching the lost and encouraging the saints, and we desire the minister to put effort into these areas. We desire a minister who is willing to evangelize (for example: assist with website; conduct home Bible studies; and other ways to contact people) and reach out to the people in our area with the Gospel of Christ. The Woodbridge congregation has been in existence for over 50 years, and the church here is optimistic about future growth. Presently, post COVID, the church has around 60 to 70 members. The congregation currently has an eldership of three godly men and two deacons. We have a membership that is a hard-working group for the Lord. We have an active Ladies’ Fellowship Group and have historically conducted a Gospel Meeting annually, along with other opportunities for serving the Lord. Each applicant will also be asked to complete a questionnaire that will help us determine some doctrinal positions to see if they might be a good fit for the congregation and to see whether there is interest to speak further with the applicant. DUTIES: (NOT A COMPREHENSIVE LIST) Teach at least one Bible class per week (1 Tim 4:11, 2 Tim 2:24-26, Titus 2:1, 2 Tim 2:2) Work with the church leadership to develop and implement strategies to maximize outreach and spiritual growth of the church (Hag 2:9, Luke 19:10, Luke 14:23, Luke 8:11) Maintain regular office hours at the building, specific times and days negotiable. Salary and Benefit Information: Salary - ~$50,000 - $60,000 Negotiable Housing Allowance - $2000 per month Retirement - Will match $100 per month in retirement contributions Employer:
