QA Inspector

Contract to Hire Need for a Quality Assurance Inspector on 1st shift 

Quality Assurance Inspector
Will perform product inspections utilizing magnified visual aids and mechanical measuring devices to ensure product conformance to internal and customer technical data package requirements: This process includes interpreting technical data packages (i.e., assembly instructions, engineering drawings, schematics, bills of material, specifications, etc. Previous experience in assembling RF assemblies is desired.

Requirements

• Candidates must be able to work in a self-directed manner in a fast-paced working environment
• Foster and maintain professional and productive relationships with other staff and management
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• RF Microwave inspection Microwave devices include, MMICs, resistors, diodes, capacitors, IC's and all bonding types (wire and ribbon) which are inspected to MIL-STD-883 requirements.
• Ability to utilize various inspection tools such as verniers, microscopes, gauges etc.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality System requirements
• IPC-610 & J-STD-001 Certification a plus
• Other duties as assigned

• High School education or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in various commodities including but not limited to; machined, casted and molded components, PCB and electronic assemblies, optical components and assemblies.
• Comprehensive understanding of ANSI/ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances.
• Comprehensive understanding of Mil-Std-883 /Mil-Prf-19500 requirements.
• Proficient in math to determine conformance to specifications and prints.
• Excellent oral and written communications.
• Ability to multi-task and proficient with time management.
• Experience using Microsoft Office software.
• Working knowledge of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Background check is required
