job summary:The Senior Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and integration of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and IT projects, while also playing a key role in building and structuring a Project Management Office (PMO) to support the organization's strategic initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with leadership skills, a deep understanding of both M&A processes and IT systems implementation, and the ability to deliver complex projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

The ideal candidate is process-oriented and brings both technical acumen and business acumen to help inform and influence our team's continued growth and evolution. The candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy a blend of supporting the day-to-day project needs of the business while working on the longer-term alignment to our company's roadmap objectives.

responsibilities:As our new Senior Project Manager, you'll play an instrumental role in driving our strategic objectives through expert leadership in both M&A and IT projects. Your deep understanding of mergers and acquisitions, coupled with experience in IT systems integration, will be critical in guiding our complex initiatives. In addition, you'll be key in building out a PMO structure to enhance project governance and efficiency. While a background in supply chain management is a plus, your ability to adapt quickly and manage cross-functional teams will be essential to your success.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent

5-7 years of relevant experience in project management, with proven success in leading teams and managing projectsSkills and Knowledge Requirements:

Proven experience managing M&A transactions and large-scale IT projects, including systems integration, application upgrades, and data migration

Experience building and developing a PMO, including establishing project governance, processes, and standard methodologies

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders across business and technical domains

PMP certification - strongly preferred

Experience with ERP systems needed (Epicor Prophet 21 is a plus)

Experience in a products industry

strong meeting facilitation skills at all levels of the company

Excellent verbal and written communication skills (i.e., meeting minutes, emails, follow-up, etc.)

Excellent organization skills

strong critical thinking and decision-making skillsExperience in supporting a diverse user base

Smartsheets experience - preferred

Healthcare/Regulated Business Experience - preferredqualifications:
