(BAI) is seeking Construction Inspectors to work in Harford County, MD on CIP projects that include roadways, small bridges, stream restorations and Developer projects for residential and commercial developments.Required Experience/Skills:Minimum of three (3) years' experience with Erosion & Sediment Control construction/inspection Possession of the MDE Responsible Personnel Certification is requiredPossession of SHA Yellow Card is requiredExperience working as a Code Enforcement Inspector a plus Ability to read and interpret project plans and contract specificationsKnowledge of inspection methods and techniquesGood verbal/writing communication skills and ability to work in a team environment with associates, contractors, developers and engineersResponsibilities:Performs pre-construction activities including review of site, attend pre-construction conferences, check construction stakeout, reviews contractor construction scheduleMonitor E&SC operations to ensure compliance with plans, contract terms, specifications, codes and ordinancesPrepare and maintain comprehensive project records including daily reports, diaries, materials notebooks, as-built plans, pay quantity records and monthly estimatesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
