Job Details

We are seeking a passionate, highly skilled, and experienced Family Law Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to the practice of family law, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and property division. This is a permanent position, offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of our clients during their most challenging times.

Responsibilities:

As a Family Law Attorney, you will handle a broad spectrum of family law cases from the initial client meeting through resolution or trial, conduct legal research and prepare for court proceedings. You will be responsible for:

  1. Representing clients in family court and mediation proceedings.
  2. Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, responses, and divorce decrees.
  3. Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients in matters related to divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and property division.
  4. Advising clients on their legal rights and options, ensuring they are fully informed to make the best decisions.
  5. Maintaining the highest level of professional conduct and ethics in all interactions with clients, court personnel, and other attorneys.
  6. Continually updating and improving your knowledge of family law to provide the most accurate and effective advice to clients.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  2. Active member of the state Bar in good standing.
  3. Minimum of 5 years of family law experience, with a focus on divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and property division.
  4. Proven track record in negotiation and mediation.
  5. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients in high-stress situations.
  6. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  7. Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
