Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated Family Law Attorney with a passion for justice, a deep understanding of human relationships and family dynamics. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in the legal field. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to handle complex and intriguing cases, and work on behalf of clients undergoing significant personal changes. The candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of family law matters, from divorce and separation to child custody and support issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide competent legal counsel to clients on various family law matters including divorce, child custody, child support, and other related issues.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
  • Conduct thorough case investigations to ascertain the facts of the case.
  • Draft, review, and file all court documents such as petitions, pleadings, and motions.
  • Develop and implement case strategy in coordination with clients, keeping them informed and involved in the process.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in family law practice.
  • Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the state bar.
  • Proven experience in mediation, case management, child custody, and child support matters.
  • Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to counsel clients on sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills, with a proven track record of achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate legal strategies and options to clients.
