In this role, you will be responsible for managing all tax-related activities, including compliance, reporting, planning, and advising. You will need to have a strong understanding of tax, financial analysis, tax preparation, and financial accounting. Job Details

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and oversee all aspects of tax compliance, including preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring accurate reporting and timely filing.
  2. Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify tax savings opportunities and provide strategic tax planning advice.
  3. Keep up-to-date with changes in tax law and regulations, interpreting their implications for the company, and advising management accordingly.
  4. Liaise with tax authorities and external auditors, managing audits and disputes.
  5. Provide leadership to the tax department, mentoring staff, and ensuring the highest standards of performance and professional development.
  6. Manage the company's international and indirect tax responsibilities, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  7. Provide tax advisory services to other departments within the company, contributing to strategic decision-making and business planning.
  8. Develop and implement effective tax accounting systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (such as CPA, ACCA, or CTA) would be an advantage.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the finance industry.
  3. Comprehensive knowledge of tax law, financial accounting, corporate tax, international tax, and indirect taxation.
  4. Proven experience in tax preparation, tax compliance, tax planning, and financial audits.
  5. Strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  6. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  8. High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  9. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions under pressure.
  10. Proficiency in tax accounting software and other relevant IT systems.
  11. Ability to stay updated with the latest industry trends and changes in tax law.
  12. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
