Job Details

The Regional Banking Manager (RBM) is responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial clients, focusing on acquiring and deepening relationships through cross-selling, driving profitability, and ensuring satisfaction. The RBM leads a relationship team, coordinating with credit, treasury, and other product partners to deliver tailored financial solutions. Networking in the community is essential to build connections and generate new business.

The RBM solicits new loan opportunities, primarily focusing on commercial real estate. They oversee the vetting, underwriting, and structuring of loans, ensuring all borrower and guarantor financial information is properly analyzed before submission to the Credit Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business opportunities and maintain a strong network of referral sources (brokers, attorneys, accountants).
  • Grow and manage a portfolio of commercial clients, promoting bank products and services.
  • Screen and analyze loan applicants, monitor borrower performance, and facilitate loan closing with Credit.
  • Ensure smooth execution of routine transactions and maintain competitive market knowledge.
  • Promote the bank through community engagement and local events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate, C&I, and SBA loan underwriting.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial lending, credit analysis, and regulatory standards.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to manage high-volume workflow.
