We are currently seeking a dynamic, driven, and experienced Warehouse Manager for our bustling manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily warehousing activities and ensuring that daily operations meet and exceed performance expectations. You will be responsible for implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards to achieve the appropriate distribution of goods.

Responsibilities:

The Warehouse Manager's responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  2. Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security in the work environment.
  3. Ensure all products and materials are properly received, sorted, labelled, and stored to maintain the integrity of the inventory.
  4. Coordinate the logistics of all aspects of the supply chain which consists of an organized process of scheduling delivery and measuring the quantity and quality.
  5. Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
  6. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transportation companies to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods.
  7. Plan work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor staff performance.
  8. Implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs.
  9. Respond to any issues or complaints from clients.
  10. Produce regular reports on warehouse activities and present them to upper management.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Warehouse Manager position will have the following qualifications:

  1. A bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager in the manufacturing industry.
  3. Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
  4. Proven ability to implement process improvements.
  5. Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  6. Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
  7. Leadership skills and the ability to manage staff.
  8. Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
  9. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
  11. Bilingual Spanish a plus!
