The Entry Level Events Assistant at Talkish Co. supports the planning and execution of company events, from small internal meetings to large conferences and promotional events. This role involves assisting with logistical planning, vendor coordination, and on-site support to ensure smooth and successful events.
Pay : $21.50 - $31.00 per hour
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the planning and coordination of company events, including conferences, workshops, trade shows, and corporate meetings.Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to ensure all event requirements are met.Help manage event logistics such as scheduling, budgeting, and organizing transportation and accommodations for participants.Support the marketing team with event-related materials, including invitations, agendas, and promotional items.Provide on-site support during events, ensuring smooth setup, registration, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.Assist with post-event activities such as collecting feedback, evaluating the event's success, and preparing reports.Maintain an organized database of event contacts, contracts, and other relevant documentation.Handle day-to-day administrative tasks related to event coordination.Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle last-minute changes with ease.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.Flexibility to work evenings or weekends, if required for events.Benefits
