IT Project Manager 3

Position Overview: The Senior Manager of Risk Management and Fraud will lead the risk management function for Samsung's eCommerce platform, overseeing fraud detection and prevention strategies. This role involves analyzing fraud trends, optimizing risk mitigation strategies, and providing leadership to a team of risk analysts. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of risk management programs that enhance fraud detection, reduce false positives, and improve customer experience. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the risk management function, setting the long-term strategy and vision for the organization. Supervise and provide guidance to risk analysts across different locations. Conduct regular assessments of risk monitoring rules and fraud detection systems to evaluate effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvements. Utilize data analysis and modeling to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies tailored to Samsung's digital platform. Collaborate with operations, business, product, engineering, and vendor teams to modify and refine risk management programs. Facilitate weekly risk assessment meetings with stakeholders to discuss improvements and implement solutions. Perform in-depth analysis of fraud trends and patterns to enhance the detection process and optimize risk-return tradeoffs. Develop procedural documentation, process flows, and business reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success. Ensure the organization maintains an outstanding customer experience by proactively managing risk factors and fraud detection mechanisms. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. 5 years of hands-on experience in fraud and risk management, particularly within eCommerce or consumer financial services. 2 years of people management experience. Strong experience with SQL for data analysis and fraud detection. Ability to manage cross-functional teams and work across global regions. Proven track record of risk analysis, assessment, and mitigation strategies. Excellent communication and data presentation skills. Preferred: MBA or Master's in Analytics, Statistics, or other quantitative fields. Experience in building reports and visualizations using BI tools like Tableau. Familiarity with Digital Marketing and eCommerce platforms. Experience creating process flows, procedural documentation, and business reports for KPI measurement. Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic approach to risk management. Compensation: The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
