Summary

The Quality Assurance Engineer I monitors and improves the quality of our operational processes and outputs. Responsibilities include designing quality standards, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products, developing quality control systems, and determining corrective actions.

Essential Functions

Develop and implement quality standardsDevelop and implement quality control systemsMonitor and analyze quality performanceInspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are metCollaborate with Operations team members to develop and implement controls and improvementsEnsure that all quality workflows and processes comply with safety regulationsInvestigate and troubleshoot internal product or production issuesInvestigate, troubleshoot, track, and communicate external product issues. Work with external vendors to provide a satisfactory resolutionDevelop corrective actions, solutions, and improvementsPrepare and maintain a variety of reports, records, and logs. Effectively communicate quality data and metrics to Bluberi managementOther projects and duties as assigned by manager.Requirements

Degree in Quality, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or relevant experience in lieu2+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a similar role within a manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with Lean concepts and principles desiredFamiliarity with ERP systems, preferably NetSuiteMust be able to communicate at a high level in EnglishGood organizational skills and attention to detailASQ certification is a plusPrior exposure to casino gaming equipment is a plusDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyGood analytical and problem-solving skillsPreferred education and experience:

Electronic Systems Testing: Experience in testing and troubleshooting electronic components such as circuit boards, wiring, power supplies, and sensors. (Industry specific components is a huge plus)Mechanical Assembly Verification: Familiarity with inspecting and validating mechanical components (cabinets, locks, reels) for proper assembly and durability.Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Performing RCA to identify the source of defects or failures and implementing corrective actions.Industry Standard Compliance: Experience working with industry regulatory companies, such as GLI and BMM.Supplier Quality Management: Experience managing supplier quality, including auditing suppliers and ensuring they meet quality standards for components or materials used in production.

Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lifting or maneuvering at least ten (10) pounds, and prolonged instances of sitting during the shift.
