Job Description
Quality/ Research & Development Manager in Food Manufacturing Key Responsibilities:
Quality Management:
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, and other regulatory standards.Conduct regular quality audits and inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.Lead investigations into product quality issues, implementing corrective actions and preventive measures.Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met from sourcing to production.Research and Development:
Manage the development of new products from concept through commercialization, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer needs.Conduct sensory evaluations and testing to assess product quality and acceptability.Analyze product formulations and processes to optimize quality and efficiency.Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement.Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance and R&D professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.Provide training and support to staff on quality standards, testing procedures, and regulatory compliance.Documentation and Reporting:

Quality Assurance/ Research & Development Manager in food manufacturing qualifications:
