Our client in the Marketing Consulting industry is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker and strategic self-starter, deeply passionate about solving high-impact business challenges through targeted marketing and communications strategies. The role of the Account Manager is crucial in fostering strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs, and delivering tailored solutions that drive business growth and success.
What you will do:Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and act as their trusted advisor throughout their journey.Account Growth: Identify opportunities to expand our services within existing client accounts. Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to upsell and cross-sell relevant offerings, ultimately contributing to the company's revenue growth.Strategic Planning: Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and market dynamics. Develop comprehensive strategic marketing and communications plans that align with the clients' goals and drive tangible results.Project Management: Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns and communication initiatives while coordinating numerous vendors and our internal team. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed client expectations.Client Advocacy: Act as the voice of the client, advocating for their needs and preferences. Provide valuable feedback to internal teams to continuously improve our services and offerings.Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices. Leverage this knowledge to identify new opportunities and propose innovative strategies to clients.Performance Measurement: Implement metrics and KPIs to evaluate the success of marketing campaigns and communications initiatives. Provide clients with regular reports and insights on their campaigns' performance.Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, creative, and data analytics, to deliver cohesive and effective client solutions.Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic account management within a consulting firm or related industry, with a successful track record of managing large and medium-sized customers.Experience working in an agency and juggling multiple projects or clients at a time in a fast-paced environment.Experience directly managing people.Familiarity with the energy, life sciences, industrial, and/or technology industries, with a deep understanding of their unique challenges and opportunities.Oil and Gas industry and enterprise-level experience, as well as expertise in both marketing and branding are mandatory.A strategic mindset with the ability to think critically, analyze data, and develop innovative marketing and communication strategies.Exceptional communication including strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and proposals to clients persuasively.A passion for delivering unparalleled client service and exceeding expectations.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring their successful completion within deadlines.Collaborative and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.Driven by achieving measurable results and a commitment to continuous improvement. A working knowledge of analytics and reporting policies, procedures, and tools. Clients expect regular reporting on marketing activities to report on both progress and effectiveness of the strategy.General understanding of various marketing tactics with the ability to recommend appropriate strategies depending on the need and challenge.Proficient in Google Workspaces and Microsoft office.
