Assignment: Substance/Vaping Staff MonitorLocation: Marshall Fundamental"We are a 6-12 school with 1,850 students and 140 staff. We have a vape issue in our restrooms and could use support with monitoring.Located on Allen Avenue in a primarily residential area of north-central Pasadena, Marshall Fundamental Secondary School is one of a few schools in the Pasadena Unified School District that offers grades 6-12 within the same educational site.Since 1973, when the school was reopened, Marshall Fundamental has maintained an unwavering commitment to providing students with a firm, wide-ranging academic foundation on which to build a successful future.Marshall provides a rich and diverse cultural arts community and collaborates with local programs that support the interest of the school and the students. Requirements / Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL LICENSE OR LANGUAGE SKILLS:Education: Must possess a secondary (i.e., high school) school diploma, or its equivalent (GED).Experience:Recent paid or volunteer experience involving organized activities with elementary school children.Special Licenses, Certifications, Language Skills:As required by California Education Codes and Health & Safety Codes, school staff working with children must be free of infectious tuberculosis (TB).Proof of current TB screening must be presented prior to employment and renewed every 4 years thereafter.Possession of current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid certificates from approved training program is desirable.The ability to read, write and speak a language, in addition to English is desirable
