JOB SUMMARYWe are searching for a detail-oriented, analytical Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will assist with preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, account reconciliations, audit, and other financial reports. This role will review and assist with transactional activities within the general, ASC606, ASC718, ASC842 accounting processes. Our Accountant will be responsible for processing and recording entries to execute and complete the calendar close process monthly, as well as support an analysis on financial information supporting the income statement, balance sheets, and other financial information. Our Accountant is recognized as a subject matter expert on leased accounting, equity compensation, fixed assets accounting function typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities also include managing projects and processes with limited oversight.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform general accounting and other related duties for the organization.Perform fixed asset and lease schedule development and analysis.Prepare and reconcile monthly balance sheets, income statements, trail balance, profit and loss statements, and consolidated financial statementsMaintains the general ledger.Code invoices, set up new accounts, reconcile accounts, and close the monthly books.Perform monthly account reconciliations.Provide outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.Analysis of financial statements and reports in order to support the creation of the statements.Process period end adjustments (e.g. accruals and currency conversions).Maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures, provides support, and technical accounting advice.Understand the overall accounting function's role, key policies, and standard operating procedures.Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in accounting, or related field, required.5+ years of experience required.Strong analytical and mathematical skills.Well organized and able to function within tight deadlines.Proficient in MS Excel with experience in financial ERP systems (Oracle, Hyperion, Business Intelligence)Prior experience in consolidation, multicurrency reporting, fixed assets, sales/used tax, and intercompany processes required.
