Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Cath Lab

Anchorage, AK
Virtus Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a leading medical center in Anchorage, AK, to recruit a skilled and passionate Registered Nurse for their Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab). This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of complex cardiac conditions.
Benefits:
Up to $15,000 hiring bonus and relocation assistance for eligible full-time external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
Hours:
Full Time (40 hours a week)
Variable Shift
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and other interventional procedures.
Collaborate closely with cardiologists, interventional radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe and effective patient care.
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, hemodynamic parameters, and other vital signs during procedures.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
Educate patients and families about their conditions, procedures, and recovery process.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
Upon hire: Alaska Registered Nurse License
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification
1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a critical care or telemetry setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a cardiac catheterization lab or a related cardiac specialty.
Certification in Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) or Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN).
Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and interventional cardiology procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
