is looking for a dedicated and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our partner Medical Group's Critical Care Float Pool in Seattle, WA. This is an exciting opportunity to provide expert nursing care to critically ill patients across various intensive care units.
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a variety of ICU settings.
Utilize your advanced assessment and clinical skills to monitor and interpret complex patient data, including vital signs, hemodynamics, and ventilator settings.
Administer medications and treatments, including vasoactive drips and critical care medications, with precision and vigilance.
Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families on their conditions, treatment plans, and recovery process.
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing patient needs and unit assignments.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate (NIHSS) within 90 days of hire.
1 year of Critical Care Nursing experience.
