In May 2019, Piedmont Newton completed a $10 million expansion and renovation of the Emergency Department. The project doubled the department's capacity from 16 beds to 32 beds, created two additional team centers, and a room for higher acuity trauma cases. We provide care to patients presenting with a wide range of diagnoses, from life-threatening conditions to minor injuries or illnesses. As the only hospital located within Newton County, the Piedmont Newton Emergency Department serves 52,500 patients each year and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
BLS certification required.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
For PRN positions: One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred
Bachelors degree preferred
Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
