The Director of Marketing is responsible for leading the overall strategy and planning as it relates to the overall brand goals, driving brand awareness, fan engagement and global sales for the iconic plush property, Squishmallows. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, this experienced leader will manage a team of Marketing Managers and cultivate strong cross-functional relationships with internal Brand, PR, Sales and International teams, as well as external agency partners. The ideal candidate is a highly strategic and creative marketer with experience in creative development and production, large-scale events and brand activations, influencer campaigns, e-commerce and digital media/OOH marketing. In this role, you will work alongside the Marketing Director, Social Media & Partnerships for Squishmallows, to ensure cohesive planning and execution across all marketing touchpoints. The Director of Marketing must be highly-collaborative, passionate and capable of delivering best-in-class campaigns across the brand and its line extensions.What You Will Do:Develop strategy and oversee execution for integrated marketing plans that build brand awareness and drive sales.Lead the development and execution of global brand campaigns, including events and activations, paid media, e-commerce marketing, and content development as it relates to overall brand positioning and responsibilities under the Squishmallows marketing umbrella.Partner closely with the Retail Development and Sales/E-commerce teams to align goals and execute strategic campaigns.Responsible for the development of effective and efficient media plans and analyzing reporting.Effectively monitors and reports on industry and event trends, including developments in design, applications, strategy and innovation to develop effective marketing strategies.Ensures that all consumer communication is on-strategy and consistent, including commercials, digital media content, PR, retail/e-commerce and events/activations.Partner closely with the Director, Social Media & Partnerships to develop cohesive marketing plans and strategies and create synergy across all marketing campaign touchpoints.Must be a strong team leader with great communication skills and the ability to inspire employees to be creative and effective in a very fast-paced environment.Must have strong presentation skills and proactive communication among internal and external executives and team members.Operational Management:Leads collaboration across a variety of cross-functional teams including Brand, Sales, Retail Development, PR, and Creative.Oversees project timelines, deliverables and approval process internally and externally (including Licensors).Oversees the planning & development of media and creative strategy and campaign briefs.Partners with internal teams and external agencies to deliver world-class marketing campaigns that exceed business objectives.Analysis & Insights:Utilizes POS Data, Shopper and other research to develop and optimize media and marketing plans.Measure, analyze and communicate campaign success metrics & report results to leadership & key stakeholders.Perform other duties as assigned.Supervisor Responsibilities:Manages People:

The salary range for this position is $128,000- $150,000/Yr. Base salary may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, location. Eligibility for annual performance incentive may apply.
