At Jazwares, the fastest growing toy company in the world, we’re expanding our marketing organization to include an innovative social media team for iconic plush property and global phenomenon, Squishmallows. Based in our Culver City office, this new team of passionate marketers will engage a multi-generational audience and existing “Squish Squad” fan base while executing out-of-the-box campaigns that drive brand growth and reach new audiences. As the always-on voice of Squishmallows, the social media team will be responsible for strategically and creatively telling the brand story through original and influencer created content, community management and engagement, and paid / organic strategies.The Senior Manager of Social Media Strategy, reporting into the Director of Marketing, is integral to developing and executing the overall strategy across organic and paid social media marketing efforts. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing effective execution and measuring success across organic, paid and influencer marketing. You have a depth of knowledge on each platform, stay up to date on all changes and can work quickly and strategically to shift as needed. You will work in partnership with Brand, PR, Creative, Retail, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to drive success across the business.What You Will Do:Own the development of, and continued evolution of, the social media and influencer marketing strategy for Squishmallows, including line extensions, licensed collaborations and global CPG partnerships.Tap into a depth of knowledge and experience to deliver world-class, out-of-the-box social media campaigns that exceed business objectives across paid and organic channels.Collaborate internally to strategically align teams and drive key results across social, retail and e-commerce.Measure, analyze and communicate campaign success metrics and report results to leadership & key stakeholders.Lean into and share audience insights, tapping into community feedback and consumer trends to build disruptive social activations.Effectively monitor and report on all industry and social media trends, tools, platform capabilities, best practices, and more to ensure constant innovation.Work closely with the rest of the social team on weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting, contributing with insights, recommendations and next steps across creative and campaigns. YesThis role is responsible for all aspects of performance management for their team.What We Look For:Bachelor's degree in marketing or other related field preferred or commensurate combination of experience and education.7+ years experience in digital marketing with social media management and strategic analysis in a content-driven environment.Consumer or retail experience within the Toy/Entertainment/CPG and/or agency space is required.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively across different teams, departments, and external partners.Experience delivering best-in-class large-scale social media campaigns with a track record of delivering on key KPIs.A deep passion for research and fluency in measurement across various tools with the ability to analyze and communicate campaign success metrics and report results to leadership and key stakeholders.A creative thinker! Must be able to problem solve and create a plan to reach the goal. Ability to think outside of the box and develop innovative tactics to engage fans.Highly organized with extreme attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a high-pressure and time-sensitive environment. The salary range for this position is $112,000 - $135,000. Actual base salary may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, and location. Eligibility for annual performance incentives may apply.
