At Jazwares, the fastest growing toy company in the world, we’re expanding our marketing organization to include an innovative social media team for iconic plush property and global phenomenon, Squishmallows. Based in our Culver City office, this new team of passionate marketers will engage a multi-generational audience and existing “Squish Squad” fan base while executing out-of-the-box campaigns that drive brand growth and reach new audiences. As the always-on voice of Squishmallows, the social media team will be responsible for strategically and creatively telling the brand story through original and influencer created content, community management and engagement, and paid / organic strategies.
The Senior Manager, Social Media reporting into the Director of Marketing, will play a key role in building this groundbreaking team. The ideal candidate is a highly strategic and creative storyteller who will establish a clear vision for all original content, brand ambassador program and more and will lead the team in delivering best-in-class campaigns.
What You Will Do:
Drive the development of, and continued evolution of, the social media and influencer marketing strategy for assigned brands, including line extensions, licensed collaborations and global CPG partnerships.
Inspire the team to push the boundaries in developing innovative social campaigns that spark conversation and build deep brand love.
Lead editorial calendar development and content creation; guide the ideation and execution to best align with internal business goals as well as each platform’s unique strategy while ensuring high-quality creative.
Coordinate with community managers and the Senior Strategist to track performance, implementing learnings and pivoting accordingly.
Expand on our brand ambassador program, crafting and executing cutting-edge influencer marketing strategies that amplify our brand presence, drive impactful sales results, and foster deep community ties across digital landscapes.
Partner closely with the Retail Development and e-commerce teams to align on goals.
Optimize project timelines and team workflows, adapting as appropriate and ensuring deadlines are met both internally and externally.
Work closely with the Senior Strategist to effectively monitor and report on all industry and social media trends, tools, platforms and best practices, ensuring constant innovation.
Work closely with the team to deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting, providing insights on creative and campaigns.
Perform other duties as assigned.

This role is responsible for all aspects of talent management for their team.
What We Look For:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, or other related field preferred or commensurate combination of experience and education.
7+ years experience in social media management and influencer marketing within the Toy/Entertainment/CPG and/or agency space is required.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media and influencer marketing campaigns as a part of a larger 360 multi-channel plan, as well as standalone, social led campaigns.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, trends, and best practices across both organic and paid.
Experience with analytics and tools to measure performance and ROI across social and influencer campaigns.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively across different teams, departments, and external partners.
A highly creative individual with a passion for brand building and an eye for design.
Ability to provide guidance and feedback to take social content and creative to the next level.
Must be able to problem solve and create a plan to reach the goal. Ability to think outside of the box and develop innovative tactics to engage fans.
Highly organized with extreme attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a high-pressure and time-sensitive environment.
Easily adapts to shifts in priorities.
Leadership experience with the ability to both project manage and inspire / motivate a team.

The salary range for this position is $112,000- $135,000/Yr. Base salary may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, location. Eligibility for annual performance incentive may apply. Jazwares is a multi-state employer, salary range may not apply to other states.
