Opportunity: Director of Marketing - Branded HotelsThe Marketing Director, Branded Hotels functions as a brand steward for marketing efforts supporting HHM’s portfolio of Brands. This individual will spearhead the brands’ marketing strategy, identity, creativity, and messaging, as well as lead extended teams in deploying integrated marketing communications initiatives across partnerships, experiential activation, content marketing, social media, PR, paid media and other aspects of advertising/marketing communications. This individual will also work in partnership with brand management and other functional teams within HHM.This role will champion the creation of marketing and brand activation platforms to drive awareness, perception and preference across key B2C and B2B audiences, and connect with other functions to direct activity throughout the funnel to drive revenue and business profitability.This Marketing Director has responsibility for the brand marketing program spend related to their primary brands of responsibility. In this position, he/she will be responsible for the content and implementation of the brand-wide marketing plan and support all brand programming efforts for the brands under their direction.This position will develop marketing strategies, manage the creative process, manage photography and video asset creation, manage budgets, develop and execute programs (e.g., brand voice, marketing communications, direct marketing campaigns), as well as advance key relevant segments.This individual will be the champion to ensure brand voice is activated at all identified consumer touch points and that system-wide pull-through programs are developed and executed in conjunction with key channel/discipline teams.Responsibilities

Essential Job FunctionsPrimary responsibilities include the synthesis of information relevant to the planning process, incorporation of input from key business leaders through the planning process, development of plan content, program budgets and results, development and execution of marketing programs, direct marketing campaigns and collaboration on any brand media strategy and buying.While the Director will have direct responsibility over the core hotel brands, they may support other business extensions of the brands depending on overall needs.This position requires a self-motivated professional who is an experienced strategic marketer with a passion for brands and delivering on-brand communications.Qualifications

Position Requirements8+ years’ experience in the hospitality industry, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance AND 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related majorExperience managing and defining transformational strategies for business unitsDemonstrated ability to deliver results under difficult conditions, particularly when faced with complexity and ambiguity
