Job Overview:

Get ready to take your career to new heights as the Assistant District Manager! In this dynamic role, you'll be a key player in supporting the Area Manager to oversee multiple client sites across the vibrant landscape of Southern California. Your mission? To elevate the Servicon experience, ensuring our clients receive nothing short of excellence.

Responsibilities:

Manage and direct the performance of routine to complex tasks and projects.

Ensure contracted service is delivered to client specifications and serve as the point of escalation for client questions and concerns. Lead contract renegotiations and actively seek new service opportunities.

Ensure site staff and management understand and execute their responsibilities consistently and safely.

Ensure the site is properly staffed with the appropriate number, type, and skill of service team members and managers.

Recruit for the site, including opening requisitions, selecting appropriate candidates, conducting interviews, and providing feedback.

Develop and guide employees, serving as the point of escalation for employee relations issues, including corrective action; escalate and/or consult with human resources when appropriate.

Ensure payroll processes are completed for the portfolio, including reviewing and approving timesheets as necessary; able to run timekeeping reports and derive meaningful workforce metrics from the data.

Communicate and articulate safety and job-related training to service team members and managers.

Develop metrics for portfolio supply inventory for budgeting and client contract negotiations, including cost savings.

Participate in strategic planning meetings with leadership.

Build cross-functional department relationships centered on executing company strategy.

Closely monitor the budget to anticipate and communicate changes.

Stay abreast of industry standards related to cleaning techniques, supplies, and tools, identifying opportunities to leverage these resources with specific client sites or tasks.

Skills:

Minimum of eight (8) years relevant experience in Facility Services, Aerospace Operations, Manufacturing, or a related industry.

Strong commitment to high-level service and quality standards.

Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, develop, and lead a team.

Willingness to work a variable work schedule, including day, evening, and night shifts.

Demonstrated ability to manage service execution and contract deliverables.

Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Salesforce, Kronos/UKG (or similar HR, Timekeeping, Payroll systems), and similar corporate systems.

Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record that aligns with company standards.

Demonstrated experience working with union contracts.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

Ability to travel between local locations approximately 30-40%.

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, or related studies preferred.
