Chief Nursing Officer OpportunityThe Windsor-Laurelwood Center
is a 159-bed facility located in beautiful Willoughby, Ohio, which is a short drive from downtown Cleveland. Recognized as a Top Performer by The Joint Commission, the hospital provides 24-hour care and serves children, adolescents, and adults with psychiatric, behavioral health, and substance abuse issues. Our multidisciplinary treatment team includes board certified psychiatrists, psychologists, registered nurses, licensed social workers, case managers, and milieu and activity therapists. Windsor-Laurelwood also features a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit for adults, Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization programs.The Chief Nursing Officer
is a key member of the Windsor-Laurelwood Leadership Team who will integrate and coordinate a patient-centric nursing strategy with a hands-on approach and keen focus on patient care; ensuring that delivery of high-quality and cost-effective health care is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements. The CNO participates in the hospital's strategic planning and contributes to the achievement of institutional goals and objectives. Job Requirements:Licensure: Current license or permit to practice professional nursing in the state of OH.Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a CCNE accredited nursing program; Master of Science in Nursing is strongly preferred.At least four years psychiatric nursing experience, which is the treatment and care of persons whose principal diagnosis and focus of treatment is a psychiatric disorder, the experience can include working as a staff nurse on a psychiatric inpatient unit or in an outpatient setting with individuals who have a primary psychiatric diagnosis.Extensive knowledge of principles and practices relevant to nursing and patient care activities.Demonstrated knowledge of effective management and supervisory practices.
