Job Summary The Data Engineer is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining ETL (extract, transform, load) processes to support the organization's data integration and analytics needs. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL processes to extract data from various source systems, transform it into a usable format, and load it into the target data warehouse or database. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop data integration solutions. Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability. Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs, addressing any issues or failures to ensure data accuracy and availability. Develop and maintain documentation for ETL processes, data mappings, and workflows. Build tools to leverage current data resources to inform product growth and development Perform data profiling and data quality checks to ensure data integrity. Work with business partners to create proper data procedures, documentation and processes to ensure accurate data collection. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making and analytics initiatives. Assist with analytical requests, report design and internal customer data consultation activities. Stay updated with the latest ETL and data integration technologies, trends, and best practices. Perform other related duties as required or assigned. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or equivalent work experience, including two or more years of related experience in ETL, Cloud Environments, or Analytics experience One to two years of experience working with Azure or other comparable cloud environments preferred Azure Data Fundamentals certifications preferred and candidate is expected to finish certification within one year of employment Strong knowledge and experience in SQL and Python or Java Effective communication and presentation skills and ability to express complex analyses in simple terms to business leaders LI-onsite Physical/Sensory Requirements: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
