Job Summary The Web Designer is responsible for the design and development of company websites to create and maintain functional, engaging, interactive, and user-friendly web pages. The position also manages and monitors web-based marketing data, including search engine optimization (SEO) and Google Analytics. This role regularly collaborates with colleagues to support campaigns, special projects, and goals of both the Marketing Communications department and the overall organization. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and development of company website(s), ensuring alignment with our brand identity, business goals, and user needs Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, communications, and IT) to create visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly web pages Create and curate compelling content, including landing pages, blog posts and interactive elements Optimize pages and content for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and organic traffic Conduct user research and usability testing to identify pain points and enhance the overall user experience Implement vest practices for navigation, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness Design graphics, icons, and visual elements that enhance our brand identity and convey complex financial information effectively Collaborate with marketing team members to create eye-catching banners, infographics, and promotional materials Work closely with search engine marketing (SEM) team to integrate paid search campaigns into the website design Optimize landing pages for conversion and lead generation Manage and regularly monitor all web-based data and analytics Leverage experience with digital marketing campaigns to create landing pages, email templates and social media assets Performs other related duties as required or assigned, including assisting with wealth building programs Requirements Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or related field and proven experience (2 years) in web design, preferably in the financial sector. Five to six years experience will be considered in lieu of degree Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles Strong understanding of SEO and SEM principles and best practices Proficiency with WordPress, or related content management system (CMS) Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), Figma, as well as other design tools Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines and work independently Ability to build relationships with various teams, departments, and vendors Experience with digital marketing and knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements preferred Physical/Sensory Requirements - Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
