Position Title: General Manager (GM)Note:

****This position is located in midwestern United States****We are looking for an experienced leader with a minimum of ten years of progressive growth in a disposable medical device manufacturing, engineering and production environment. You will need to demonstrate experience with annual operating plans including budgeting, financial statements, balance sheets, P&L, and Capital planning.As the General Manager you will be responsible for the leadership of all functions of the disposable medical device team. These functions include Production/Operations, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Product Management, Controlling, Materials, and Human Resources. You will have full profit and loss (P&L) responsibility along with responsibility for achieving all Annual Operating Plan targets.What youll be doing:Developing and achieving annual operating plans for sales, expenses, profitability, inventory and return on net assetsDeveloping and executing business strategies with product and market plans to achieve profitable sales growthProviding leadership to meet or exceed customer requirements for quality, cost, on-time delivery, and customer satisfactionManaging resources and foster cross-functional teamwork to allow for Operational Excellence targets and Policy Deployment goals to be achievedCollaborating globally with other sites of disposable medical device assembly componentsPlanning and achieving continuous improvement targets by utilizing Lean Systems and Six Sigma for all operating activitiesProviding leadership to support Division and Company goals and objectivesSupporting the Talent Management process to continuously improve performance and develop personnel skills and behaviorsManaging the operations to meet the requirements of State and Federal regulatory agencies, as well as the requirements of all applicable safety and environmental agencies, including Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System (HS&E) requirementsProviding leadership to ensure compliance with the Quality System and related standards, such as ISO and other standardsDeveloping and executing plans for capital expenditures in support of current and future production requirementsProviding leadership in a cross-functional team environment to ensure the flawless launch of new products and processes to productionSupporting development and implementation of new technologies to increase productivity and competitivenessMaintaining adherence to Company policies, safety/ergonomic standards and good housekeeping practicesOther tasks as assignedWhat youll need:Bachelors degree in engineering, manufacturing or related fieldMasters degree, such as an MBA is highly desirableKnowledge of LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies is desirableExperience using SAP ERP softwareExperience in a metric driven cultureExperience with ISO standards including ISO 13485:2016
