Senior Business Analyst

Client: UtilitiesContract Duration: 2 yearsOnsite 2 days a week in Tempe, AZONLY LOCAL CANDIDATES, not considering non-local candidatesSr Business Systems Analyst (BA)Provide business analysis services within an Agile framework. Work closely with product owners, development team, stakeholders, and quality analysts to ensure that the product meets the needs of the business. The Business Analyst will work with a cross-functional team to analyze, refactor, or replace current applications impacted by the Customer Modernization project. The BA is responsible for writing detailed user stories based on business requirements and participating in agile ceremonies such as backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, product demos, and sprint retrospectives.Required Skills5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst with extensive hands-on experience eliciting, analyzing, and validating business, functional, and non-functional requirements.Extensive hands-on experience with agile practices, requirements documentation, user story creation, facilitating, and interviewing techniques to extract and validate user requirements.Hands-on experience maintaining an expansive, well-groomed backlog.Strong interpersonal, leadership, negotiation, and written and oral communication skills.Preferred SkillsAgile/SCRUM development methodologyFamiliarity with Azure DevOpsKnowledge of SRP Water or flood irrigation
