Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - COVID19 - $2,254 per week

Certification Details Candidate must be able to Scrub and Circulate. Job Details The Operating Room Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient in the Operating Room. As a member of the surgical team the RN works with the Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, ORTs, and other personnel to provide patient care in the Operating Room according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and regulatory standards, physician orders, policies, and procedures of the Hospital and the Surgical Department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: ensuring supplies, timeliness of cases, communication with families, updating of physician preference cards, scrubbing, and assisting physicians during surgical cases, and supervision of personnel delivering patient care. Job Requirements Vascular experience is strongly preferred but not required. BLS Required. Could care for covid patients. Could float as needed. 2 yrs experience required. Epic experience required. As of 1/5/2022 all travelers must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Any traveler declining the COVID-19 vaccine must be approved for a medical/religious exemption by their agency. Schedule Information Days- 4x10 hr shifts- with Weekends and call as needed by the unit. The Candidate will also work weeknight, weekend, and holiday rotation if needed.
