Business Analyst/Quality Analyst

Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst / Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this hybrid role, you will play a critical part in both gathering and analyzing business requirements, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions through rigorous testing. You will act as a bridge between stakeholders and development teams, while also executing tests to guarantee the product meets the business needs.Key Responsibilities :Business Analyst (BA) Responsibilities :Work with stakeholders to gather, understand, and document business requirements.Analyze and translate business requirements into functional specifications for the development team.Facilitate communication between business teams and technical teams, ensuring alignment on project goals.Conduct gap analysis and feasibility studies to identify improvement opportunities and recommend effective solutions.Assist in the development of project plans, including scoping, resource planning, and timelines.Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and support product rollouts by providing post-launch analysis and feedback.Quality Assurance (QA) Responsibilities :Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and scripts based on project requirements and specifications.Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure software quality.Identify, log, and track software defects and issues through to resolution.Collaborate with developers and the BA team to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve bugs.Ensure test environments are properly set up and maintain test data for consistent testing.Generate detailed reports on test results, defects, and quality metrics.Qualifications :5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst/Quality Assurance, roleStrong understanding of both business processes and software development lifecycles (SDLC).Proficient in creating detailed business and functional requirements documents.Hands-on experience with testing tools such as JIRA, Selenium, or equivalent.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
