Overview
We are looking for a Final Quality Inspector to ensure that all products meet our rigorous standards before they reach our customers. This role requires a keen sense of observation to identify discrepancies in materials, components, and finished products against engineering blueprints.
Responsibilities:
- Review manufacturing documentation to verify job completion
- Request and assemble necessary inspection instruments
- Perform final dimensional and visual inspections
- Conduct first article "Layout" inspections
- Oversee job close-out procedures while coordinating with manufacturing and engineering teams
- Carry out regular and specialized inspections of raw materials, components, and assemblies following established protocols
- Implement and interpret quality assurance standards and operational procedures
- Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to ensure precise inspections
- Document findings and maintain comprehensive inspection reports
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to report quality issues and suggest corrective actions
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in aerospace receiving/inspection
- High attention to detail and precision
- Technical proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, manuals, and technical documents is a must
- Hands-on experience using micrometers and height gauges is a must
