Broad patient populations come to GI Lab for diagnosis screenings and/or treatments. The minimally invasive surgical procedures primarily include colonoscopies and endoscopies, as well as advanced gallbladder cases.We’re a Little Different:Mercy Hospital Jefferson is a 251-bed acute care facility located in Festus, Mo., providing 24-hour emergency room care and a full range of diagnostic, preventive and restorative health care services.Our mission is clear. Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing programLicensure:
Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.Experience:
Experience Assisting Upper & Lower Procedures RequiredCirculating Experience Required
Certifications :
Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.One or more of the certifications below may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe:
