Summary:

The Sr. Specialist, SHRM Foundation Digital Marketing position is responsible for delivering and executing upon SHRM Foundation’s programmatic initiatives through digital channels for awareness, fundraising, brand building, and the adoption of SHRM Foundation Programs.

Working in conjunction with the SHRM Foundation Team and the SHRM Foundation Brand Marketing Manager, the Sr. Specialist will coordinate with multiple stakeholders to deliver upon key Foundation goals through email campaigns, digital media, digital and print collateral, website updates, and content creation, making sure deployed tactics are relevant, timely, and in line with brand standards.

The Sr. Specialist, SHRM Foundation should have commanding experience in project management, navigating multiple projects at once, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work within a cross-functional team to achieve goals.

Responsibilities:

Keep the SHRM Foundation website up to date with the most relevant information as new resources become available.Create/prepare print and digital collateral.Execute brand projects including logos, branded assets, branded event support, digital project support, email marketing creation/writing, copywriting, and integrated marketing campaigns.Coordinate social media team to promote key Foundation initiatives.Pull, compile, and communicate all analytics associated with deployed tactics to better support and inform stakeholders on what works/doesn’t work.Own brand standards and enforce those standards as a “Branded House” – including state council, chapters, and products.Draft compelling messaging that delivers clear benefits to external and internal stakeholders and conveys the brand voice.Deliver on SHRM Foundation brand on product launch tactics, brand themes, and initiatives from initial launch strategy through promotional and post-launch follow up to achieve brand visibility and new audience introductions of the brand.Think of out-of-the-box ways to activate against key events, social media, influencers, event/pop-up activations, partnerships, email, and new channels to maximize investor opportunities and new revenue opportunities for SHRM Foundation – driving the brand experience across new and existing audiences.Measure and drive demonstrable business results and ROI through brand building.Apply great attention to detail with presentation, written and verbal communications skills.Project management including timelines, cascades, and budgeting.Other branded communications projects as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.Experience:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Strong written and verbal communications skills.Highly organized with an ability to juggle multiple tasks with competing priorities and meet deadlines.Ability to work as part of a team with excellent interpersonal skills.Strong understanding of social and digital media and other channel tactics.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.Creative, with strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.Experience project managing email and paid digital media campaigns.Knowledge of best practices for creating email templates, dynamic content, testing methodologies, list segmentation, drip campaigns, deliverability, and CAN-SPAM laws.Proficient in Marketo.Experience with project management, with an ability to multi-task and adhere to tight deadlines required.Experience with Google Analytics (GA4) and email reporting required.Analytical and problem-solving skills for coming up with ideas to increase demand for products and services.Demonstrated track record in marketing automation process, tools, and techniques, as well as knowledge of data management concepts and best practices.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations. Work is generally done sitting, talking, hearing, and typing. Visual acuity to use a keyboard, prepare and analyze data and figures; transcribing, viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.

Work Environment:

Work is regularly performed in a combination of office and conference settings and routinely uses standard office equipment. SHRM is a hybrid work environment where we are in the office Tues-Thurs and work from home on Monday and Friday. #LI-Hybrid

The hiring range for this position is $83,000 to $95,000 per year. This range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. SHRM offers a competitive and comprehensive total rewards package.
