Salary: $105,000 - $120,000 per year

Fast growing Digital firm is growing and looking for a highly skilled senior leader to drive efficiencies for month end close in their North American Division.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, including working for a global firm handling intercompany communication, balance sheet reconciliations, P&L analysis and audit support.

Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join our fast-paced finance team. This is a permanent role that will be instrumental in overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar capacity with a global firm.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accounting Manager, your responsibilities will include:

1. Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department including: intercompany accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, P&L analysis, managing the month and year-end processes for the division under the Controller.
2. Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
3. Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
4. Coordinating and completing annual audits.
5. Meeting financial accounting objectives.
6. Establishing and maintaining fiscal files and records to document transactions.
7. Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
8. Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team.
9. Providing strategic recommendations to leadership.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. CPA or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting or financial management role with proven proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and financial management.
3. Strong working knowledge of detailed financial data analysis and reporting.
4. Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
5. High attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Ability to direct and supervise effectively.
7. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Solid experience coordinating audit activities and managing reporting.
9. Proficient in ERP's such as SAP or Oracle, with advanced knowledge of Excel.
10. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
11. Experience with creating financial statements and knowledge of internal controls.
12. Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
