Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, designing, and testing mechanical components, equipment, and systems. This role requires a creative thinker who can apply their knowledge of mechanical engineering to develop innovative solutions for our clients. The Mechanical Design Engineer will work closely with our team of engineers and other professionals to create or modify industrial machinery and equipment. This is a permanent role, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, design, and test mechanical components and systems.
  2. Create and modify industrial machinery and equipment.
  3. Collaborate with a team of engineers and other professionals to develop innovative solutions.
  4. Conduct research to inform the design and development process.
  5. Evaluate mechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs, applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials.
  6. Confirm system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods, testing properties.
  7. Develop mechanical and thermal devices by studying customer requirements, researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials, and soliciting observations from operators.
  8. Ensure compliance with ISO standards in all work processes.
  9. Provide technical advice to the project team and clients, as needed.
  10. Prepare product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered an advantage.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
  3. Proficient in 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools, such as AutoCAD, ProE, SolidWorks, or other.
  4. Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes.
  5. Understanding of core concepts such as mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, etc.
  6. Creativity and analytical skills.
  7. Detail-oriented with an aptitude for problem-solving.
  8. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  9. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  10. Familiarity with ISO standards and experience in their implementation in design and manufacturing processes.
